Year's uspg championship that's the prize that's pretty impressive now in this video i participate in the challenge myself it doesn't quite go to plan i'm gonna say it let's be quite honest then.
I invite three followers down randomly put a tweet out get three people down. And they challenge me now if they beat me they win a prize of their choice albeit a driver a set of irons wedges putter find out in this video because i do give something away that's big in this video. But there's a bit of a twist at the end either way without further ado let me show you what happened at trafford golf center yesterday the nine shot challenge okay. So to make this fair i'm gonna have one attempt at this and remember its proximity to the hole the closer i get it the lower my score will be. And the higher up the leaderboard i will go oh it should be the right distance. But it might just be a torch left that's it okay 18 foot not bad great. For distance actually shot number two 140 yards and it's soft little late iron all that just needs to stay there do not go any more left than that please ball all right not super close. But not bad 23 feet shot three the shortest one in the nine shots it's 66 yards not my favorite shot in the world let's hope we can get a nice close one here well that's not my best hit a little bit closer i'm not bad 13 feet i'd take that any day. Or if that stays online that should be very nice oh nailed it oh no it was going. So well that's added on a big score oh oh it's all going to pot let's go to racking though [Music] oh i've gone slightly the other way now i feel like i need to finish with three holy hole-in-ones to stay under 300 at the moment. But as i mentioned i'm a nice guy i don't mind if i score badly and i give some irons away so be it oh that's the nicest one i've hit so far that should be close how close is the question oh it's nice little eight footer i'll take that every day. So i've got two shots left to go this next.
One's 156 yards you know what's good about this this is the longest hole on this challenge. But pretty much everyone can hit 156 yards regardless of what club you're hitting. And it makes your practice fun like top tracer is. So good for that almost gives you nerves as well i feel nervous hitting these shots and again it's more realistic to real golf two more to go come on let's finish strong uh-oh it's gonna leak right soon as it gets over the water last shot 112 yards back left pin i'm 413 on my score at the moment that could be beat but quite easily that could be venus if it stays there that should be okay do not go any more less than that spin back a little bit keep getting closer we're inside 20 feet score on the doors nine shot challenge 433 it's a big score i know it could easily be beaten let's find three contestants who can challenge that score. So i have set up this tweet and i'm gonna put on instagram as well if you want to challenge me come to traffic golf center the next.
10 minutes the first three people with their clubs that says nine shot challenge to me in this bay have a chance of winning amazing prizes just thinking one thing if they've beat me they're probably hitting their eyes pretty well so i'll give them the option they can either win a set of irons if they want to. Or a new putter or a new driver maybe it's a nice treat that's going to help them play better golf next.
Time. So it's been about two minutes since i put the tweet out nobody's here just yet not nine hole challenge nine shot challenge but i'll take that we've got contestant number one okay. So sam knows what he's doing nine shots to try and beat me and uh if you did beat me would you be after a set of irons. Or a new driver potentially a putter a putter i'm sure he's got his eyes on that expensive one either way let's get going 129 yards per shot most nerve-wracking golf shot you've got nine of them to come good luck sam that's not bad is it going to get up there oh a little bit short 60 foot you know what sam swings it well. For 17 handicapper he gets his distance control right he's got a very very good chance of beating me oh no you've not struck that one sam no mid left it's found a sandy grave oh that was a lovely stroke very good sam you know oh i hated midday i think you got closer to me on that one that was class strike sam little rock it's got to get up a little bit bud oh we caught the green. And rolled down the bank and it's rolling and it's rolling and it's rolling ouch that wasn't far off and it's racked up your score you're on 255.99 so far beautiful strike sam that's the best one today.
My friend yeah that looks very good has it got the legs oh wait i've got the body legs that's brilliant very nice see your videos work well there you go you got four shots to go four more good strike again sam. But it is a bit left my friend oh that's put a big score on there it's not what you needed oh that is the best shot you've hit sam that is beautiful how's it got the legs get up 24. i'll tell you what this is on sam this. So let me set the scene last shot for sam 112 yards he's got to get it it's quite simple inside 10 foot oh sam it's a bit leaky it's a little bit okay i don't think it's gonna do it oh 30 foot well i'll tell you what that is a very very valiant effort. And hold on i'm gonna give you a little consolation prize because you did pretty good then.
Put it well done that is class okay first shot michael 129 yards it's a nice strike. But it is pushed up the right hand side it's dry next.
Shot 140 yards beauty that is looking perfect what. For your club have you here well not the right one by the looks of things he's absolutely smashed it faster flag if he did win what would you want what's on your wish list driver i've only got these irons last year. So it'd probably be a driver it's got a different grip for short shots interesting lovely strike i don't know if it's got the legs get up all right sure [Music] i have to travel a bit get up there shoulder get up there 156 this is the longest hole of the challenge i think you could probably get there with eight you're the pro that sounded really nice see there you go we've got one in listen to your coach that's all you got to do 40 foot away best shot. So far so at the moment michael's on 377. he's got about 60 foot of flavour these next.
Few have to be very very good [Music] sounded superb i'll be good look at this look at this you know what a few shots ago there was no chance a few shots ago he had no chance of beating my score right now he's got three to go. And it's still on oh it might be a little bit right with that last shot that means he is over the target score i'm afraid he's having these last two just to finish off strong that if that gets all that's bang online if it gets up if it gets there oh it's dry sounded. So good well left but it's way left you hit some lovely golf shots and stick around there's one more guy to go and then.
We might have a little bit of a challenge so contestant number three the final one good luck steven very well play well boy it's not a bad strike but it is a bit left yeah [Music] oh very similar shot to your last one no oh it might catch a little bit i'll tell you what it's done oh that looks tidy that looks very good hello i'll take that one go on keep going wow three foot away that brought me back in it was a chance that was a very very good goal shot that was real that was the best. So far today.
Strike oh he's getting into his stride now is that good. For distance oh sure stephen you didn't hit it enough stephen's currently 224 and he's got five shots left to go he's got to play well effectively fact nine of this nine shot challenge steven the pressure pressure's getting thresher gotcha way right yeah that's uh that's in a sandy grave there i'm afraid the good news i think you can still beat me right make it hauling the bad news you need three hole-in-ones right i'll tell you what that's a lovely strike you've got the distance. But it's not gone the distance it's in the bunker that's me done actually you can finish the last two just yeah [Music] oh it's leaky it's on the green though nice feeling very very good effort [Music] okay nobody successfully beat me you might do at home though go. And give the nine shot challenger go and see if you can beat my score now because these fine gentlemen came. For the challenge we've got one last thing because i want somebody to win something all right all right we're gonna have a shootout closest to the flag wins the prize that you wish so michael you were looking. For a new driver right correct sam putter and stephen what were you looking. For probably go with irons actually irons okay one shot closest to the flag whoever gets it closest we're gonna buy the prize. For you all right all right yeah sounds good right stephen good luck put the pressure on oh that looks tidy could be a little chaser has it got the legs no way that's a good shot i'm happy with that that is a grand total of thirty point zero five feet away happy with that yeah do you like do that right thirty to beat nine think you can do it sam we can give it a go good luck oh oh oh no oh it's a little bit left oh that wasn't far away 34.84 feet just inhale. So it comes down to this 30.05 to beat it's a wonderful strike it's a wonderful strike is it going to be the right distance it is 18 foot away how do you feel yeah i'm excited don't know what to say oh you win a new driver unlucky's thank you that's it 18 foot away thank you michael walks off with a brand new driver.
