Hi welcome to rick shields golf tips today.

We're going to talk about the bump. And run shot and how we can use it on the golf course to get nice. And close to the flag the shot we've got in hand here is one where the pin is positioned all the way towards the back edge of the green. Yet we're on the front apron at the moment we've got absolutely nothing to get over so we can use as little loft as we can to get the golf ball to land on the front of the green. And to roll the rest of the way the club we're going to use is the a-tire on this shot this is going to guarantee us to definitely land the golf ball onto the green. But then.

Also have enough forward momentum to run it all the way to that back flag the technique behind the shot is i want you to grip down on the golf club to give you a bit more control narrow the stance. And just push the weight 60 into your leading leg and actually keep it there all the way throughout the swing the stroke itself is an extension of your putting stroke. So we're going to make sure we keep our arms nice. And firm especially especially the leading wrist here make sure we do not flick that leading wrist i'm going to look at landing this about a quarter of the way. And then.

Rolling all the way to that back edge as you can see there the golf balls come out nice. And low and that's finished about five feet away from the hole and give me a good chance to knock that next.

Put in give that a go next.

Time you're out on the golf course and let me know you get on and thanks very much for watching.
