Hi guys my name's Rick shave down here after Golf Center and today.
I'm gonna be trying the new callaway x2 hot fairway wood really looking forward to this because I've got on quite nicely with the driver. And I loved last year's fairway wood of this the X hot loved it's a bit so it'd be interesting to see how this gets on on GC to hitting real golf balls I've got this in 3-wood setting at the moment this is in flow why does it not say it just took just as three words there's no loft on this at all I presume in its 15 degrees there's not a single segment on this club that's telling me not on the net nothing. So there's no adjustability on this at all you can't just a net you can't adjust the loft with it's got none on there anyway I've got it in stiff shaft this is the tour I'll dealer 60 gram stiff shaft. So there normal standard stiff shaft what I do like about this club a lot is how shallow the face that I've just tried the Big Bertha 3-wood you can check that out my channel. Or click in this window just here and I like that quite a lot so I'm interesting to see how this compares to that do check out that if you've not seen it as well. And let's get cracking so looks wise behind the ball it's obviously a mini version of the driver so the x2 hot driver which I've tried just over the last couple of weeks you can check URLs again on my channel this looks like just the mini version of this it's a light grey color it's got the little Callaway arrow on the top to help your alignment it's got a few little almost orange fangs along the back it's not really doing much. But anyway it's more of just a graphics and design it looks it looks pretty nice so we just care about distance don't we don't we just want to see how far this called the goes so I'd say x2 hot X hot last year was one of my favorite three words ever let's see how this compares to that that felt nice oh that felt nice two five eight carry distance. So pretty big hit for the 3-wood there straight out the trap one five six ball speed one the fastest I've produced today.
Nearly as fast as the driver ball speed I produce. And only ten yards off line not quite as fire interest in two four eight its spun up a little bit higher at 500 grams per minute a little bit more spin but it's gone almost dead straight seven yards off line so we'll take that every day a little bit TOEIC that wasn't hit as well I'm not going to look at the figures there at the moment that wasn't hit as well I would say just off side of Center be interested see how far it's gone still two four eight you know I've been pleased with that. So it's not a million miles away it has gone more to the left because of the the Toey strike so it's got 20 yards left but again down a fairway that wouldn't be the end of the world or certainly hitting into a fair into a green it wouldn't be the end of the world from 250 yards out ah got it it does feel good not again not quite as far 240 that time outside went a little bit higher it spun a little bit more. But still pretty decent distance I'll tell you that right let's go one off the floor this time that was only two point five yards off line as well. So pretty accurate again now off the floor there should be quite a nice Club to hit even though it's got quite a big head for when you look down at it it's got a very shallow face not quite as shallow as the Big Bertha run looks so it should be should still be pretty easy to off the floor though let's have a let's have a test of that oh yeah it's easy it is easy Oh 2 5 4 carry distance off the floor that felt magnificent that felt really good off the ground there. And one I would say so far the best 3-wood that I've hit off the floor the reason why I have been hitting off the tee is to give you guys the most reliable data really. So it's not not dependent on missed strikes too much but that arc that was good it only went 3.5 yards off line. So if we have a look at data and I want to throw all that up on screen for you we've got left side ball speed 1 5 4 if you've seen my other three words that's fast that's right up there with pretty much the fastness probably the fastest out of all of them launch angle very consistent 13 degrees please that spin brilliant 3100 when I've seen that I've hit the best 3 woods it's been spinning as close to 3000 as it possibly can get sometimes a little bit under. And it definitely maximized the distance up in the air 37 yards up in the air loads a height so when that's landing on the green that's going to run nice. And soft certainly when hitting it to a par for a par 5 long platform and the carry distance 250 yards furthest carry distance so far on average very very very nice I've hit one yard one shot left hit 120 yards left but apart from that 3 yards left 2.5 seven yards 10 yards very tight dispersion as well one bad one that I'll hold my hands at I could have been my fault probably was my fault. So guys that was my review of the Callaway x2 hot 3-wood definitely one of the longest fairway woods out on the market. So far there's not it's not all singing it's not all dance it's not all adjustability you know this is just a straightforward long hitting 3 would definitely worth trying if you're in the market. For a 3-wood that even might even replace you driver now they are bringing out also an x2 hot deep which I'll try. And get my hands on very soon for you guys to to see and like I'm going to test it. For you as well as long they've not come out yet anyway so I'm going to testing that very soon. But that was definitely one longest three was. Yet guys if you've not seen any of the other three wood videos check them out on my channel just here I've done loads of 3-woods and you can check them all out on here you can also subscribe to my channel just down here check me out on Facebook.
