Hi guys so we are now got to the fairway woods xr fairway woods we've got the normal one three wood 14 degree quite strong one i'm looking forward to hitting that. And then.
The pro version still in 14 degrees smaller head like we've had seen in the irons and the hybrids as a normal version and the pro version slightly smaller head slightly smaller high for speed face cup uh and so far i've not seen any different real difference on distance just of looks behind the ball the pro every timers has just not been as comforting to set up they look a little bit smaller maybe not as forgiving so i'm going to start off with the xr 3 wood first i do apologize if i keep saying xr hot i mentioned who i sometimes might mention it guys i am here on the callaway stand in the the orlando golf show. But believe me there is no sniper to my head there is no callaway guy around i'm just testing. And giving these a white and they've never really told me much about it try and warm me if someone gets too close as well please do right let's give it a smash got gc2 someone hitting real golf balls not my best hit in the world that'd be interesting a little bit healy 257 carry a little tiny bit here i'm hitting off a very small t-peg i'll hit some off the floor in a sec felt nice felt easy to it was just a fraction heel side to center. But still for that number that's not bad at all it's just just two five nine i'm going to get them drug tested that's it that's final i'm actually going to get these golf clubs tested because they are ridiculously big hitting i'm just going to move up a tiny bit. So don't get hit or hit anyone it's good so far good start the one more for team oh bullet flight 254 so just under the 260 mark um relatively easy tip mentioned about the club before about it being blackhead with a very subtle kind of callaway arrow right let's go off the floor this time not expecting much difference we're just seeing how easy it is to hit it off the floor it is very shallow which is always a bonus. For me for a 3-wood i'm going to hit the pro in a moment which i think is a little bit even more shallower which would suit me better just because hitting off the fairway. For me but if you if it's a club you want to hit off the tee the pro normal one would be the probably the one that you want to be hitting with right let's go off the fairway yeah lovely lovely lovely lovely 260 carry it's just great this is where i test clubs now guys our test clubs in orlando yeah awesome love it nailed nailed nail nailed right two five eight. So let's jump over to the pro version again it doesn't straight away no it's weird it doesn't fill me with confidence straight away it's a bit scary as soon as you set it up behind the ball. But no arrow no alignment slightly smaller head. But still i still like the finisher i don't know whether it's because i've just gone from the normal version to the pro i keep getting almost a little bit scared because of it i think if i picked up the pro straight away it wouldn't fear me too much because not they're not mega bladed. Or small it's just that gone from a big head to a small head anyway that's not changing performance because it seems performing pretty well oh the flight is just great oh 262 14 degrees these as well guys 14 degrees. So relatively strong three ah then.
The element there nottingham two sixties feel nice to hit off the deck so like i say it's a tiny bit shallower yeah just a fraction. So that feels to me more comfortable off the floor oh just if there's ever a range for me if there's ever a range of golf clubs that i thought would suit the biggest widest audience from golfers who want to hit the ball far from golfers who want to i don't know feel a nice hit yeah control it. And still look club it looks nice these xr range are right up there. And they're not they're not as they know there's no adjustability you know they're simple they're simple clubs i like that i like that a lot right let's go one more off the floor just nailed love it right guys let's have a look at some figures um they've pretty much gone the same distances both of those two clubs 14 degree whichever experts just one seemed a little bit hard to take which was the pro around the 260 carry mark i hit up to the seventh shot with the xr 3 wood. And the xr pro with the the 4 above that all around that 260 mark you can look at the figures yourself see how you got hitting real golf balls all carry distances felt great felt easy right big stick driver it's going to be next.
