Review we've got the callaway xr hybrids i'm going to do both in this review because we've got two we've got the normal hybrid. And the pro version so we're going to test them both see how they perform normal hybrids much bigger it very much looks like the x2 hot this is their replacement that's what it's replacing again not been told any information from cali about these clubs apart from i know they're fast because i've got i've tested this before not tested this one before. But i've tested the hybrids before when it was the hybrid hyper speed face cup. So i did some reviews recently with the alpha hybrid numbers were incredibly impressive i've got this in the three. So it's the 19 degree in the big version and then.
The 20 degree smaller version the pro version i'm gonna see how they perform both in stiff flexes both in the project x stiff got gc2 real golf balls the callaway real golf balls and i'm here in orlando at the possibly the biggest driving range in the world like i said before i've not got a laser pointed to my head from callaway i've not even got anyone no one's even bothering me. So no one's telling me about what these clubs are doing. So i'm giving the most honest review i can possibly do let's give it a smash. So behind the ball uh i love you know what i like about his head it's really it's really dark and black there's a very very subtle the callaway arrow on the top very subtle almost blended into the head which looks fantastic it's not too deep white grooves which make the groove stand out but then.
Pretty much nothing else to design-wise yeah nice i like it it's quite shallow pt1 is. Or the pro one is much smaller let's give this a hit. So 20 degree i would expect about 220 so it gets on oh what a flight just so high um right callaway just come just callaway has gone crazy here they've just gone right you know what we're going to create the longest hitting clubs we can possibly hit i've got a camera filming a camera here the longest clubs they can possibly hit because this is massive two three five this is weird i feel more pressure now as another camera let's give us a hit oh the flight wow 235 again exactly the same distance that's in my opinion. For a 20 degree hybrid that's about 15 yards for the night expect 10 15 yards further than i expect 241 hybrid they have i think there's something in them i want them tested i want these clubs drugs tested there's something in them two four one it's just massive hitting safe again yep nailed 241 again right pro version smaller head considerably smaller as well not just a little bit smaller quite a bit smaller no design on the top. But still black finish white grooves a smaller thinner hyper face cup slot and this is 20 degrees. So in theory this shouldn't go as far as that a little only degree difference so we'll see how it goes on i don't i would i would expect kind of i have to see that or maybe in the 230s carry this one doesn't fill me with as much confidence when i look down at the ball it's it's much much smaller in the head oh behave just a flight you are going to think i'm being held at gunpoint by callaway here you are. But there's i'm not i'm just i'm just showing you the figures two to eight carry but it was the shot it was the sound it was the flight it wasn't as scary as i thought it was awesome loved it all right that's going to be interesting i didn't hit that one as good bottomed it hit it dreadful 215 carry still. And i promise you that was a bad shot i'll probably take one out. For the averages so i'll mess up the results a little bit right let's go one more right oh it's scary this is scary stuff all right let me see the average of the xr hybrid normal xr first it had a carry average carry of 200. And 38 yards that's like 18 yards further than what i normally hit it with a hybrid 20 degree hybrid so easy to hit as well nice kind of size and chunk today.
To the xr head nice size. And chunk to it um definitely one if you are a player of a hybrid who wants to get the distance. And easy to hit this is the one i said the pro doesn't offer as much comfort behind the ball looks a bit a bit smaller a lot smaller. But it has a different flight to it different certainly different noise more pinky more tinny average carrier distance on that one let's have a quick look i'm going to take out that dodgy thin one because that was off the bottom it carried 215. But the average was 2-3-1 still massive hitting guys they've they've rocket fueled them i've said that before about clubs. But this this is literally like they've just gone you know what we're driving biggest driving in the world let's try. And hit it faster i'm just making some balls of jamie solowski which is just scary good.
