Hi guys my name is rick shields. And we're at the trade show and we're testing the new callaway xr iron i've got the xr pro i've got the hybrids i've got the fairway woods i've got the drive so i'm going to blitz through them all got my gc2. So i'm going to be bringing some data towards the end of the video i can't give you the simulation unfortunately. But i'm going to show you the numbers towards the end. So the x r it's kind of an x2 hot replacement so the x2 hot came out probably last year very much target to the higher handicapper who wants to hit the ball a million miles then.

Brought a pro version smaller headed version which is more suited to the eye of a better player. But still has all the benefits of the xr range or the x2 hot range so let's get hitting some this looks like a really tidy iron it's got a bit of technology with the phase cup so it's the 360 face cut technology which basically just means ridiculously fast club head speed at ball speed really fast ball speed um we're hitting off grass which is always nice. And then.

Sunnis orlando which is always good. So i'm gonna hit five or six shots see how it performs how it works and then.

Show the numbers towards the end so look down look why is behind the ball i don't know if i could tell whether it was an xr. Or an x2 hop right now i don't know if i could tell obviously i know but i couldn't they look very similar rounded head chrome finish on toe and heel slightly uh darker finish through the face which looks pretty impressive i hit real golf balls i've got callaway reel golf balls here as well so the numbers will be very legit oh wow what a ball flight okay 190 carrick six iron sorry six iron one nine five carry. And just was like a bullet that was really good that was really nice oh wow 192 felt good felt fast felt hot it is this is powerful this is really powerful. So the guys didn't i've just spoke to the guys from callaway here behind me and they didn't really tell me much about the stuff they just said you know what just go. And test it i think i know why i think i know why they've said that now that was really nice oh it's the it's. So easy to it i said this about the x2 hot it is. So so easy to hit 195 195 192 195 you can't i can't get over how easy this club is to hit it feels like it sounds cheesy it feels like like butter off the face. And there's not a single callaway guy here watching don't worry i'm not being held at ransom that just felt different clash routes go two more i'm enjoying hitting it looks wise i'm not sure if i would go for this looks it just feels a bit chunky but hitting it that far it's pretty impressive and what a ball flight what a ball flight 204 yards 204 yards it just feels easy it feels so easy to hit right last one i'm going to be good here aren't i last one then.

We'll get onto the pros next.

Oh different class different class right let's have a look at some figures. And see what's coming out at so we have a look at the averages here and we'll pop them up on the bottom of the screen here 197 carry 197 carry ball speed 136 launch angle 12.8 it's pretty low but i'm trapping it i'm squeezing out there and just so easy to and hardly offline at all 10 yards to the right on average i know right and left kind of count a little bit but hardly a single jar difference callaway xr iron it's so easy to it's untrue it's big it's long it's forgiving it's chunky which might give a lot of players confidence and i love it i'm gonna hit one more i'm gonna get onto the pro yeah love it all right guys thanks.
