Today.
I'm gonna play nine holes with some brand new golf clubs in the back. And i'm playing with no woods whatsoever now this is gonna be a tricky challenge certainly if i want to try. And break power but the clubs i've got in the bag are these i've gone with a very popular set titleist t-100 four down to nine iron i've gone. For a slightly more forgiving three iron the t200 a little bit chunkier hopefully that's gonna help and this last club is really cool one that i think is gonna go in my bag anyway it's an sma titleist 46 degree with my name tattooed on it it's pretty cool in it. So i'm gonna play nine holes here at the marriott and basically see what i can shoot see if i can go low. Or whether it's gonna be a nightmare because i'm only using irons as i mentioned i've not got loads of little super lofty golf clubs that's what makes it really challenging and this is also going to be a great opportunity to properly test the t-100s because loads of people have asked me to test these particular irons [Music] that will do very nicely. So the original t-100s which these are now replacing they replaced the very successful ap2 lineup ap2s really were known. For covering such a wide range of golfers like tour players like jordan spieth had him in the bag with multiple majors yet kind of a 15 18 even 20 handicapper sometimes had them in the bag so they tend to suit a lot of different abilities okay second shot a tying into this green pins back right which might be quite hard to get to [Music] oh that could be good though that could be good though oh it's sensational it's what a start i thought it was gonna be hard to get near. But i've pulled off a worldie that shot was sensational make sure you hit the like button on this video because of that shot i mean that pin was not easy to get to. And i put it about five foot away what a start [Music] too much speed [Music] well this looks nice oh it's very very very nice right just as i hit that shot i heard a little bit of commotion behind me and you might have just seen it on the replay both driver and spectator golfer was watching my shot. And a slight accident happened i apologize for distracting people on the golf course however. this is the shot hitting it's worth being distracted. For i don't think it's been worth being run over. For i must admit i'm liking these irons so far this is another phenomenal birdie opportunity on the hardest hole in the golf course i also just quick one. And made sure he was okay before we left the scene i mean it's great that we've got on video to be honest [Music] very nice indeed one on the par did not expect that i'm liking these iron. So far this is a very inviting pin third hole i'm playing par three down the hill 162 yards to the flag i'm gonna go with the eight iron now i hit it fairly close on the first hole i hit it even closer on hole number two am i gonna hit it even closer i mean this this is very inviting back pin i can hit it hard a little bit of draw on it [Music] oh it's drawn too much that might not even hit the green oh yeah we're on the green. But it wasn't what i was hoping. For [Music] yeah good effort rick oh [Music] it's been hard you know i played that nice. But my is it's my own fault i've only brought off 46 degree i need more loft [Music] come [Applause] on. So i've played a few holes so far i've got to say i'm really enjoying these irons i do think they look fantastic they feel great off the face because again they're more normal lofts they're not going super long distances. And you know what i'm really liking the 3i and the t203 iron it feels powerful i get a great feel off the head as well enjoying these enjoy them a lot perfect oh [Music] it's been really hard go go [Music] very nice [Music] get up that's good you know what that's done really well because i didn't hit that as pure as i wanted to it came off the bottom of the head but it's actually still pin eye i didn't think that was gonna get there it's done really well right come on let's not this one in. For birdie up the hill right to left [Laughter] i thought i walked too early but i did not you know what mate maybe i just don't play with driver. Or three wood anymore or more lofted wedges because currently somehow two on the par with only three holes left to go okay this is the seventh hole we play in it requires a little fade left to right i'm gonna try it with this the three iron from the t200 i've been hitting this very nice at the moment let's see if i can shape one manipulate one oh my done it too much that's not bad actually hold that line yeah it might just be a fraction blocked out. For my second shot okay i've got a mad shot on here i'm 180 yards away i've got to fade it around this tree let's see if i can do with the six iron dry bit more okay miles short of the green either needed to hit it better. Or hit a five iron i've now got a tricky little shot with the 46 degree pitching wedge oh rick oh rick played it too soft great save great save [Music] come on [Music] yeah that's not bad from there now the only problem if i knock this one in i go three on the path i'm not sure that's a problem. But i feel that's almost too low it would really make me consider not using driver 3 wood or more lofted wedges [Music] i'm three on the bar just using irons so before i come on to the final hole of this little challenge of course i i've loved these irons i also think they look better than last year's model they feel phenomenal i mean the real suit of my game today.
Must admit could i see myself using them yeah i could are they going to go in the bag we'll see we'll see. But they are really impressive today.
I've also been a big fan of this three iron as well the t200 um i've got a tight list surrounding my bag anyway it's quite similar. But maybe just slightly better looking again done a good job on these irons i really do i can see why they're. So popular for me i played really solid golf today.
Got to put it working nicely as well. But hit some really really good iron shots so the last hole is a par four just under 400 yards because i'm currently 300 power which is crazy can i finish with one more birdie guys if you liked the video make sure you hit like.
