All right guys hope you're doing well bit of a different video today.
I've been filming today.
For the hit Channel my brand new review Channel where I test everything and anything if you've not been over there yet and subscrib do jump over there. For everybody who have subscribed all you OG subscribers thank you we're over 200,000 subscribers now let's see if we can get to quarter of a million as soon as we can. But I was sorting out my store room before. And I found some boxes I have never never opened like never So today.
We're going to go in the hit Studio open those boxes up see what the hell is inside them. And give them a bit of a hit and a review now this is kind of behind the scenes you're seeing here we are on air. So look at this this is the hit Studio like some of this stuff some of this stuff over here I don't even know what how it all works. And in here Boom the hit studio and it looking good I absolutely love it in here beautiful vessel bags clubs that I've tested already Adams if you not check them out do. So got these now some of them granted I have actually opened the end of them but never actually got the clubs out let's see what's inside those bad boys today.
We got our fantastic cameras set up. And our GC quad the beautiful Hit logo again guys if you've not subscribed to hit what are you doing jump over to subscribe straight away gets a quart of a million GC quad Pro v1s a load of boxes with golf clubs there's only one thing to [Music] do set of very nice irons that might be the easiest iron I've ever hit in my life I like this concept I really do do you know what they say nothing feels like a mauno oh we got a driver smokes little tight drawer Standley knife at the ready now genuinely in some of these boxes I've got no idea what's in them let's start. For this top one obviously it's Wilson you can see by the tape always feels like like Christmas this let's see what's inside I should be pretty good at this by now the amount of boxes I've opened in my time see what's inside feels like a heavy box okay kicking things off. For these actually really interesting look at this right get rid of that look at these oh my goodness they're like hybrid Launchpad Wilson irons how cool are they look at this I've got the seven iron out look how good Launchpad seven iron the fastest Soul iron I have ever seen come on can't wait to give this a smack wow they look. So good right I'm intrigued [Laughter] oh oh my gosh that went so so bloody high for 7 iron carried 171 yards literally went to space let's hit one more I might I might have to do a full review on these we'll see that might be the easiest iron I've ever hit in my life in my life. So that was an interesting start what else are we going to find right this feels heavy this one I have in theory already opened oh we got a driver we got some other I think these are just Fairway ones we'll go with the driver I think they're just all mauno this is the mauno St which version is this one stz stz stz. For my American audience okay this looks nice actually let's give this a whack actually looks quite nice looks pretty mean okay don't know if there's any other drivers that might that one might be drivers as well. But let's give us a hit nice grip actually I like it's kind of multimaterial a little bit rougher on top softer underneath okay one shot review oh I can't give it a review on that one that was hit. So far from the heel we'll go another one on the hit Channel we review much more thoroughly you know we really take our time and go into the detail this is a fun kind of unboxing video. And I have no idea what's in these box is if if anything catches your eye in this video. And you want me to do it more in depth review leave a comment down below I certainly think the Wilson irons I want to do a more in-depth review of those. But if you want to see me test this mauno driver or other clubs let me know right come on let's give this a a good hit that was smoked little drawer down the left side of the Fairway yes please get to 300 yard oh 299 ouch now as you can see I love testing golf clubs it's one of the first things I started on my channel. And the love and the passion is still there I'm sure you can see that in this video opening brand new boxes. And looking at what's on offer I don't think much beats it okay we've got a Callaway box this feels like quite a short box. But good thing is coming small packages what have we got okay looks like a set of irons Crank that bad boy back hope we got set of very nice irons now again this might be might well be a full in-depth review they've been out a while now though I'm sure they'll get replaced very soon Callaway Paradigm x a in hand these are actually really popular um the only thing with Callaway. And and this is where torade. And Callaway each time each year bring out an iron set that marries up to the driver family and to be honest in the past I've not really reviewed them much because it feels like they've got a very short lifespan but on the hit Channel I will be reviewing those ions cuz that's what exactly what we do on the hit Channel we test we review everything it was clean. But it was a really good flight has got miles 175 yards. For an eighton that's huge and they actually feel good these irons and because it's like kind of carbon back it does have a slightly odd sound. And a feel but you can just tell it's. So easy to hit real classic Callaway shape very rounded in its features go one more they're really nice hits to be fair they were identical to each other very very good right let's see what's next.
Right. So that's the Callaway irons done now there is a club I actually found that granted it's not boxed up because I had uh had someone over recently from America who actually borrowed this club we got this the tailor made mini driver the mini burner now it's interesting with Mini Drivers let me uh let me get up on the mat. And explain they've been around for a few years now um torade have done it Callaway have done it this one's very interesting because of its adjustability it's a 13.5 degree loft it's like a very lofted driver a very strong lofted 3-wood it kind of sits in that middle almost like a two-wood you can actually change the Loft you can go up. And down in the Loft as well and even more so there's two weights there's a heavy weight and a lightweight in this setting right now I've got the heavyweight of the back you went heavyweight forward you crank the Loft down you've basically got a real kind of low spin tiny little driver um this is interesting I'm going to give this a whack before I do. So though I'm sure you've seen this before but trip this head cover it's kind of an old school head cover which I really appreciate I like this kind of sock area and to make it really really old school back in the day when I was a kid playing golf certainly titless were the ones that did this a lot in inside head cover it's a little Easter egg look at that hey I'm not sure if I'd quite be able to rock that. But I'm sure some of the cool kids could right I'm going to go off a little tea first even that might be a little bit too high that tea. But 13.5 de nice looking head it's kind of got this almost like dark red almost this kind of darker brown color to it looks good got a funny feeling this I absolutely fly no idea on the carry distance I think anything over 260 would be a [Music] result faded it I reckon it's done good. For distance still the the one thing I know it's not actually done quite weak the one thing I struggle with the concept of mini driver is who is actually going to be using it that's the one thing i' I've always found it difficult with this club because if you struggle with driver do you really want to go then..
And shrink the head size of a driver feel like you shouldn't I feel like if anything need more help I feel like a lofted big 460cc driver would be a better option I mean there golfers on tour that's got this in the bag I know Tommy Fleet would had this in the bag whether he still has. Or not but I know he did have it in the bag I think. For those guys who obviously hit the middle of the club face this is a huge benefit I'm going to hit one more off the tin. And let's hit a couple off the deck as well that's nice it's a nice flight that doesn't it doesn't feel like a driver um because it's not it's a I think mini driver the the even the phrase itself is a little bit misleading I feel like it's more like a a 3-wood XL like an extra large 3w that's kind of how I more see it um I mean like say you can crank it down you could really get this Del lofted. And move the weight forward and possibly get some extra distance out of it it's a nice head shape this doesn't fill me with confidence Hitting off the floor truth be told just I feel like the the the face is far too deep let's see if I can do it I think 250 carry off the deck I would be delighted oh I managed to get it away ah a little bit draw I think I went after that one a bit too much I think it's done well. For distance go one more one more one more just while I've got the feel for that that smokes little tight drawer the thing with it it's nice distance the thing with it I don't believe because you shrink the head size and you call it a mini driver for me I don't see it being any more accurate like as you saw there I can easily turn this left. And miss the Fairway still that last one was a good one I'm I'm going to put it out there I'm personally not a fan of Mini drivers I'm not. But I'm pretty confident to say Brands will continue to bring them out because they've got this kind of cult following yeah I'm not sure this feels very light this doesn't feel like it's a a set of clubes it doesn't feel like it's a wood this might actually be a putter which if it is we have to review in another video well it's not going to put a grip to it the hell is it oh okay okay all right the roof might get hit here this is a 64 degree lob wedge It's a Sky lob by PR Dion your guess is as good as mine everybody I have got no idea what this club is I'll see if there's any paperwork in the Box let's give this lob wedge a hit okay oops we kind of ripped it a little bit. But Hey listen it's like a treasure it's like a treasure map got to try and put the pieces back together right approximately 10 hours later okay this is interesting say the sky lob has 64° of Loft. So very very very lofted 9° of Bounce angle which is the bottom of the golf club. And is 70° of L angle which is much much more upright than a stand lob wedge now it's saying because of that the ball comes closer to your feet it's. So I mean I can imagine I'm almost going to stand to this not too dissimilar to a putter that takes the wrist out of it a little bit I guess uh have a look at the video it's 100% legal. For any golf tournament in the world they've even sent a conforming letter from the USGA which is now unfortunately ripped. But it's a conforming letter let's give us a hit this is quite interesting actually okay look at this this is interesting. So in in my right hand here this is just a a normal L wedge uh L angle you can see there that's the bottom of the club is flat to the ground the lle is pointing kind of towards my belly button as such this Sky lob the lle is. So much more upright that's crazy actually I actually really like that idea like when I get a bit nervy around the the green I do get closer to the ball I put the toe of the golf club down to almost pre set this wrist position oh I like that I do I'm not sure on the Fuller shots. But I'm super super super close to the golf ball I feel like I'm almost my eyes are directly over the ball uh 64 degrees of Loft. So slightly worried that we might hit the top of the simulator here but I'll just do a little half swing that's really nice I like this concept I really do they would it worth opening all these boxes eh found some right gems look at that that's crazy just feels like it takes my wrist out of it all I need to do just turn through it love that there's a couple of things I'm noticing that the head feels really heavy I'm not sure if that's because of the the maybe the lack of quality in the shaft. And grip I mean it's not a premium uh Club this at all I mean it's not terribly made. But it's not premium um I wonder if this concept might be taken by any other major manufacturer that could be quite interesting it's got really like feel it's got a really heavy head I love that look how straight they're coming out look at that love it R 64° extreme don't get me wrong let me just h a slightly Fuller one I'm slightly worried about the roof but let's see what happens I go so slightly Fuller one I pull it but in theory that makes a lot of sense to me it really does like it really really makes a lot of sense I like it I do I might uh I might give this a world on the course you know very good finding some really cool stuff in here I'm going to leave the The Big Box till last I'm like a kid on Christmas morning that's like it feels like my main present. But let's see what's in here I've actually opened this before this is obvious from a company called Greenwood I think this yeah this is a putter okay. So we might do a more in depth review of this down the line First Look cuz this is a very very cool head cover kind of this faux leather brown finish homemade in Canada kind of love this bit of fur I like that Black Shaft nice grip okay see what's inside got a funny feeling this is yeah it is a wooden putter now it's not the first wooden putter I've ever received I've actually received others in the past look at that though big block of wood it's been beautifully handcrafted it's. So smooth to touch nice little alignment line on top wooden face kind of this this metal plate at the bottom it's bit of scratch in there but it's called made in Canada T Series Greenwood it's actually saying 0° of Loft and 71° L angle it's quite fitting to that wedge I've just been testing 70 ° L angle let's let's save that one and if you want to see me review that thoroughly here in the hit Studio be sure to like And subscribe and let me know in the comments below whether we give this a full test on the Zen putting stage with the put view right last box again this has actually been partly open so let's tip these out oops okay I am normally much more careful right we've got in here some zuno irons wonder if there two different sets I think it might be you know oh yeah look okay. So let me grab the seven irons and I'll tell you what I've got Okay. So we've got the mauno pro 221 we've got the mauno pro 223 and mauno pro 225 there's like kind of Blade cavity and then.
Kind of hollow head design I like them let's give these a whack okay kicking things off with the mauno pro 221 irons this is the blade version First can't get this py can't get this wrap off you think I'd be pretty good by this by be good at this by now um wow that's nice looking iron if you want to see me do full reviews of these new mauno irons on the hit Channel be sure again to like. And subscribe and leave a comment down below I think I think they are definitely um well they're definitely worthy of a full review without question that's the the benefit of the hit channel to be able to take these sets of irons whether it's mad wedges. Or put wooden Putters give them more of a fuller review on the hit channel right let's go with the blade first seven iron pretty confident these will be a a fairly traditional LOF. So I'm probably going to carry this maybe about 165 with the 7i 170 max that felt nice that felt nice you know what they say nothing feels like a mauno that did feel good blades obviously probably not where my game is currently at the moment. But hitting a blade does feel very satisfying let's go one more with these they feel nice in the hands like I like the grip these are kind of the Zed grip which is a bit got a bit of cord in them these are Project X shafts all I the steel shafts. But almost look graphite yeah they feel really nice like I said I think full review of those will be coming soon let's jump on to these next.
These are the mauno pro 223. So the little bit more cavity I'm getting a little bit more help as I go up the mauno set here you can tell with the head shape just a tiny bit bigger blade length. And just a little bit thicker Top Line I'm expecting these 7 IRS to carry just that touch further just cuz they'll be a little bit stronger lofted as well I just caught it a bit thin that wouldn't have felt nice with the blade but actually felt okay with that then.
Let's go one more just pushed it I've got to go one more better on than that I don't feel like a struck either those to that well a that's nice that was a nice feel yeah definitely longer okay moving back into the last option here this is the 225 the kind of hollow head design the p790 competitor as such uh it I must admit though looks wise it's right up there in the looks category it's a beautiful looking iron it does just look like the blade the 221. But just been kind of blown up a little bit been working out the 225 right oh that feels nice like this might be where I kind of sit a little bit more in my golf game these days he's slightly bigger ions compared to the blades I pushed that one a touch it's gone miles okay one more guys if you've enjoyed this video this kind of unboxing little bit kind of behind the scenes of the hit Studio be sure to like. And subscribe definitely jump over to the hit Channel And subscribe we want to get up to quarter of a million subscribers and I think we can do that pretty quickly. And I think if we do we got to get some giveaways going on as well. And then.
Stay tuned from like I said I'm thinking some of these um clubs that I've opened today.
Will definitely feature him more of an in-depth review let's finish with one more I'm going to carry this exactly 185 yards don't know if it's going to get there guys thanks. For watching stay tuned lots more to come 180 yards and that is an unboxing video here in the hit Studio.
