Hi guys my name is down here traffic gold centre in manchester. And i've got my hands on the new driver today.

This is the sldr s the taylormade sld rs um i'm gonna do a brief review of this quite a brief one because in my opinion the sldr driver i'm using at the moment is a fantastic driver it's really good why they needed to bring an s out i'm not too sure you know i don't know you know the the differences are it's a different color in the head. So it's a kind of gray silvery finish it's got no adjustability on the neck. And it comes in three gloves it comes in 12 14 and 16 degrees of loft so they've increased the loft massively i've got a 16 degree driver one of the fact once i find someone who suits i'm going to get them on a video. And show you guys as well how a 16 degree driver can help some people um apart from that it's got a black finish black face like it's a lovely lovely looking club. And to me it's almost a bit like you know apple iphones they bring out apple iphone five and then.

They bring out iphone 5s there's not a great deal of difference between a five and an s there's no real difference between sldr. And an s and they've asked the tour players what does the s stand. For they did a commercial recently what what does the s stand. For some good answers i want you guys to comment down below what does the s stand. For on this driver the taylormade sldr s what does it stand. For i'm sure there'll be some funny ones try and keep it clean um i'm gonna hit some shots just because just because i know you want to hit it but i'm not going to kind of i'm only going to tell the carry distances just because i'm just i'm hitting it i know the the spec of this doesn't suit me fantastically even though it's 12 degrees. And i've got it in neutral um when i've hit this i've done i played the robbers and the belfry with this and didn't particularly hit it great i was waiting. For my custom fit when i was hitting this. And didn't hit it great until one shot on the tenth old brothers and if you've not seen that it's definitely worth checking out i hit it nicely on there um looks wise it i do probably prefer the look of the top of this with its kind of grey metallicy head it does look quite nice. And underneath with this black kind of chasse it looks pretty hot and i've just got this in standard stiff flex like there's no adjustability. So i can't change the shaft on this um but i'm not expecting anything massively different to a normal sldr i'm not expecting much much worse to be fair so i'm going to give it a hit see what happens yeah it feels you know solid feels nice see that's the interesting thing it doesn't seem to go as far as my custom fit one that's gone two five one where there's a little bit of difference in the shaft i'm not too sure. And it spins up a touch highest this is why i'm kind of giving you a bit of an insight to the golf club telling you what it should be doing differently. Or what it can do differently. But to me it's more suited at a golfer who knows that need to add loft so no need to go to 12 14. Or 16 degrees of loft but don't want a golf club that you have to adjust all the time so this just comes in set that is it you know that's in 12 degrees that's in 14 degrees that's in 16 degrees suppose then.

It's less confusing you know at least it's then.

It's just clear-cut that's exactly what it is still has the the normal adjustability at the bottom. So you can tink with that a little bit two six two still not massively far i'm gonna hit one more it feels great it feels no different to a normal sldr. And it does i personally think it looks better personally i think that the look of the clubhead looks better i don't think it can perform any different to the sldr normal driver i absolutely don't. So if you if you're out there today.

You've just bought an sldr don't sweat it's not it's not an issue this is just a slightly upgraded version of it it's a different color let's say like they brought the white one out let's say they brought a grey one out it's in fixed lofts. And it goes up to more lofts so guys that was my little kind of insight can't really call it review as such. But an insight to the new taylormade sldrs don't forget i want you to tell me down below what does the s stand. For try and be clean okay um if you enjoyed it. And give a bit of an insight please do feel free to comment down below the only one thing the good thing that taylormade is doing at the moment is that they are doing a 30-day money-back guarantee. So on any driver that you hit taylormade if you're not happy with the results you can take it back. And swap it better still you can even get your money back. For it so they're that confident that these drivers are going the longest. And i know my one my sldr430 is going pretty long at the moment.
