We testing the new Wilson v6 FG tour forged irons and we're looking forward to testing these considers to come out the Box in the park as a song I thought wow what a beautiful fair golf books and actually more I've learned about them the more I'm kind of falls in love with them a little bit I'm not hit them yet that's where true tax obviously I've just reviewed the FG 100 irons which is the old classic looking ironed see that see that review already on my channel click link up in the corner. But this is a new iron that caters well potentially a better player moving into a slightly slightly higher handicap that's kind of mid-range handicap it's a forged carbon steel this is going to be pretend to the soft field from three to seven iron there is tungsten weight in the bottom which is going to help with height. And 20 grams of tungsten weight and that starts from the 7-iron in the middle of the head and as it goes into the 3i and start to go towards separate and moving towards a toe in the heel I've got two k2 testing the v6 the seven the five and the pitching wedge from seven downwards or eight nine pitching wedge is no tungsten in the bottom of the golf club what surprised me about these golf clubs the most with the loft they are super weak in modern day terms these are really weak collapse which is actually really refreshing to see this 7 is 35 degrees when modern southern ions now are getting much closer to 30 degrees these are stick with the routing stick with 35 degrees which I love I love their a beautiful looking golf called the a scale in top-line very shiny face. And almost almost some powers the toe and the heel when you actually put it down on the floor but you look down about there's actually you're almost the reflection off the mat and you can see on the close-ups almost makes it look like this toe in the heel aren't even there I've never hit these clubs the they're absolutely brand spanking new. So they are nice. And shiny at the moment start with 7-iron and I think the carry distance of 170 would be exactly I'd want the 35 degree. And go in and maybe some ideas on steel well theories before I really like that straight off the bat I don't think it's going to carry as long as what we may be used to expecting to see from the 7-iron just because the lifestyles strong that carried it one six six. And that was a nice golf shot that was a really pure beautiful struck golf shop you can see this flight location there right in the middle tiny bit of a push shot there potentially. But right in the middle of the back so awesome as well I really like how the ball climbs up into the air though it starts high and it continues to stay high I'm never going to reach the screen at 180 not at all which is fine you know just don't think I will be with this loss. So like you know 166 carry distance again I could I could become accustomed to that I could live with that if I know that's how far it's going to go if it's consistent enough I know that 35 degrees is going to get me there again another fantastic strike location. And that was straight down the neck of the ball of the shot sounds awesome that class really really nice like pulled it. So it might go an extra couple of yards further the feel of that Golf Club is really sucked too soft. But feels fantastic and they look great at the moment apart from maybe just adjusting my mindset to how far this ball is going to go I'm a big fan bus trip knows all I absolutely out the middle average carry distance f-16 a I kind of thought it would be about the 170 mark just with that loss beam books being 35 degrees which is weak let's move to a 5-iron next.
It's a double double double check lock I think it's going to be a 27-6 Zach the same loft as the real bladed ions are just tested before. So 5-iron this is where to tungsten weight. So the weight is helping the ball go up in the air is nearer to toe. And heel it's moved away from that middle location and go towards toe and heel I really like the look at these clubs I think the more I'm hitting them the more I'm looking at them the more I'm feeling the shop the more I'm slowly fall in love because I think they're just beautiful they look classic this is 5-iron 27 degrees of loft great. For height great flight as long as these are consistent. And they're not seeing any hot spots I'm not seeing any hot shots come off the face these are really class these are really good I was like carrying up 1-6 1-9 sick. And spinning higher I mean grouted I'm absolutely middling them I'm hitting them. So much out the middle which is helping how well. And hitting the Sharks granted I'll see if there's any bug shots in nerf took the [ __ ] to live in bucket I don't want to that fine middle I don't want to not fine middle I could definitely play with these golf clubs and then.
You know what before when they first all the clubs arrived all five sets from the Wilson and I just thought yeah all right there's a little bad taking out the rapid side look at it the more I've looked them the more on hitting them the more seeing the distance is the direction to flight the height the feel big fun sit on a little bit harder just a test what that does can I get up to that 200 yeah I probably could actually I really just get those a little bit firmer that's three shots three five irons I found the middle of the green tree really healthy hitting five vines I found the middle of the green on. And spill rate and I'll do it an overview in a moment the rate looks really good the spin rate looks fantastic. And probably an area that I would say has been lost in that modern stronger iron era that we play in these days well these things are spinning really nicely let me go into picture wedge 47 degrees the loft beautiful looking golf covers well it complements the full iron set very nicely indeed. So it's going to take me here is the whole leg I think to go straight in the back it's going to be a little bit sure of what. And this is the only thing that might just take me it if I was to play with these that might take me a few rounds just think it used to I don't believe I can hit them as far as I could do a normal my normal set over set that I would normally use is because they're a little bit stronger. But do you think I'd get more control off the golf shot again I'm straight down the neck of the the flag there my offline Direction has been awesome with these I'll cast in that one of the first bad hit of the review caught it off the bottom. And spin still got there but that was a bad hit as you'll probably see on the strike location in a moment when it comes up out of the bottom strike one three one carry consistent again just start a little bit off the bottom the filling up next.
Slide yeah I mean only just to be fair only just off the bottom right to complete the review. And potentially or not potentially definitely looking at getting in my bag if this goes in or close we've got a winner a little bit like I said that's the show very consistent let me just pull up those numbers. And just see just liking so I can have a real overview of that performance of the club's there now I'm not sure design disagree on any of those shots I think the only time a mr. green was potentially cuz I put the flag too far away. For the type of shot I wanted to play and we look at 7-iron starting off and the average carry distance there was one six eight which is probably about three. Or four yards short of what I would normally see from a 34 degrees lofted 7-iron so I typically see but the number that surprised me the most the one that I definitely lost a Miss is a spin rate that's spun at 6600. And are typically likely a 7-iron spin as close to 7,000 as possible that's as close to 7,000 is I've seen through either the last year of testing golf clubs brilliant offline with minimal eight yards right eight yards left on those shots very minimal 5-iron carry distance was 194 on average which again I can live with long this is 196 I hit two o'clock. And short this one was 189 it's a little bit sure on that carry distance. But spin late again I like to 5,000 spin rate with a 5-iron it was taking 4924 just like perfect absolutely perfect with the wedge the carry distance there was an average at 133 got still eight nine thousand there was that one bad strike off the bottom. But not brilliant I can't I can't raise about these enough and I didn't expect that honestly hand on heart did not expect to be falling in love with a Wilson say golf clubs have never happened before never tested before. And these are amazing. For me hitting those there they were amazing I would highly recommend even though I think I think a lot of players they won't get the distance they want from a set like this that's the danger I think a lot of a lot of golfers who potentially want distance. So you're not going to find that with this. But still put this attentional on a list that you want to hit because the field is very responsive. And feels beautiful and the looks of these golf clubs are brilliant I think I'm going to play with these I think I'm going to go a set of these. And play with them because I was going to hit the criteria brilliantly guys thanks.
