Hi guys my name is rick shields. And today.

I'm down here at form behold golf club to review the new knight covert tour hybrid this is the 2.0 i did the other one not longer last week. And you can see the results on my channel you can just check out the window here to see that. But this time it's the tour version the difference between this is you can actually change the neck loft. So you can go anywhere from 17 degrees all the way to 21. i've got this up on 20 at the moment. So it's a three hybrid equivalent only so i can compare it to the figures of last time i've got this in stiff shaft. And also the difference of this is a red tour wrap grip rather than a white tourette grip um i've got it in kuru cage stiff flex. So it's exactly the same as the other one this is just a tall version slightly smaller head. And a black finish on the face slightly more different under the design at the bottom but not too much slightly smaller head but this what they've said now is they've reinforced the cavity in the back. So they've actually reinforced this area here to make the club twist even less on off-center strikes so we'll see how that kind of compares i've got gc2 set down up here so we can actually see that. And again i want to thank uh phone bihar for letting me come down especially senior golf instructor richie marsden who teaches down here you can see the sign here they've got trap man force plates everything else there's someone's actually teaching the studio at the moment we've actually come out the range to test this product. But we're going to hit five real golf balls courtesy of mr matt ferrari who's lent me his pro v1s to hit on the uh on the gc2 here because we've just done some challenges out on the golf course. And we're gonna have to see how we've failed i don't know what will come out first actually whether this video. Or the uh the course challenges ones will come out first. But we're gonna see how uh how those fare and stay tuned to see how the results of those go so i'm going to see also on dispersion how far left. And right this club goes so i'm going to aim dead straight down the range like i've got gc2 set up. So it should be exactly the same settings that we experienced last time when i was hitting the hybrid let's see how it goes it feels really nice off the face that's gone a little bit to the right of targ actually 214 yard carry distance. So not a bad hit at all and it's gone just 15 yards off line now i felt that was ever. So slightly out the toe side of center but because of that cavity back in the in the bottom edge all the toe weight there didn't let the club twist too much set another one not as far as the other one actually not as far as the the other tor the other covert hybrid i tried last week let me just get this in the right place okay that was about two to five average carry distance with that it does produce a really nice ball flight. And what's really good about that as well is when you're hitting it into par fours. Or par five that ball is going to stop fairly quickly that's gone 215. So only one yard further but it has gone a bit to the right i'll be honest with that 26 yards to the right that would have missed the green easily mr green so i need to hit these a little bit straighter now so that felt more solid out the middle of the face it does feel really good off the face i wouldn't say it was as forgiving as the normal version obviously is the tall one. So it is slightly smaller. But it isn't quite as forgiving believe it or not it's actually not going as far as 213 yards the good thing is it's very consistent a little bit to the right again i must be aiming in the wrong direction a little bit. So i'm going to aim just slightly left hand side this time. So it is a nice hitting club. And that was my last shot there 215 yards on the nose. So if we'll have a look through the averages now we can work out how far this is going in relation to the covert one that i tested last time that's the normal covert not the tall one an average carry distance there was 214 yards it's not bad i'm pretty happy with that distance if we look through the data as well the ball speeds on the left hand column 140 yard 140 miles per hour ball speed which is pretty good 13 launch it's launching quite low whether that's because of the smaller head the central gravity's not been pulled back quite as far possibly. So it's launching quite low so that might be a club the ball that would get a little bit more roll distance from it so your total distance might be pretty respectable but the carry distance wasn't quite as good as the normal covert and peak height there was averaging at 34.. So it was re it was coming out low. But then.

Actually climbing quite high spinning back not too bad 200 4 300 not too much backspin there so it's not going to balloon up it had a quite a nice flight to it to be fair. So if we look back through the figures also looking through the cover figures the hybrid covert this is not the tour version. And we have a look through the data of that we can see the big differences of the two. And i'll just bring these up for you as well so 225 to carry this average carry distance was from that the ball speed was a bit hotter four miles per hour hotter it launched another degree more. So 14 degrees more and it spun slightly less so for me that that one was a more suited club to myself. But guys don't let put you off you should go out and try these two golf clubs if you're after something with a bit more forgiveness maybe the cover normal one would be the one for you the covert 2.0 or if you're after something that's going to be a bit more precise in its figures are you hitting the same distance every time the covert tour version might be more suited to yourself. So slightly higher handicapper need a bit more forgiveness the normal one slightly lower than this uh tall one but that's that's that's not saying much for myself at the moment i prefer the the covert one rather than the tall one but guys it's down to you to go and test you're going to test these ones i want to again thank thorn behold. For let me come down here and test some glove clubs today.

They have some great facilities down here fantastic drive range great proud facilities. And also check out my man richie marsden if you need any golf instruction around here uses trackman all the time as well but guys that was my test of the nike cover 2.0 tour not quite. For me as good as the normal version but still a pretty good club thanks very much you.
