All right guys so nike vapor time the irons to finally get my hands on them can't wait we've got the speed got the pro combo and we've got the pro down here at the london golf show i'm going to hit six. And nine irons on gt2 and show you what they do. So this is about the speed. And nike speed vapor speed this time so it's the the big ones i'm gonna put these ones down for the time being do check those reviews out coming very soon. And how good is this nike by the way you might be able to hear in the background they have a dj here at the nike stand. And vault golf balls resin golf ball love it so we're on gt2 we're gonna hit some real balls obviously uh down here orlando gonna start off with nine first now just to make you aware just because there are nike signs. And nike people i promise you i have not been tempted or talked about about at all about these products because i want to review them completely independent like i always do that's left with nine first straight away the speed range is the camera crew that's the camera crew um speed range going first i'm gonna hit 99 which is speed is a slightly chunkier version forgiving version that's the marketing art looks wise the look i mean i tested the drivers recently. And the looks of them were just sublime with that black. And the nike vault this is the big chunky version i think it's going to be a powerful hitting golf club i really do we're going nine-nine first let's see how it flies interesting behind the ball it doesn't look as chunky as i was expecting it to do it's got the uh the the tacky grip which i like i've got these all in s300 shafts let's give it a hit it's a fraction off the bottom of the club. But still looks like it's flown now i was off the bottom. And it's still flowing that one five two with a nine iron very very good distances let me hit strike this one a bit better it feels like a solid hit doesn't feel soft it feels like you've hit a club feels like it's like it's made out of strong stuff it's the best description that feels like it's made out of real strong material and it's nice they're three nines all that carrying at about 150. so that's not bad i'm happy that closed data on gcc so it doesn't matter that i'm in orlando where the sun is it's all nice. And close right let's go six sign next.
So that's this one here so when you look at the back of it it has got a big chunky cavity which when you're looking down at a club if you're after a club it's a forgiving this has to be giving you confidence when that is sat in your bag. And you pull that club out you've got to be thinking yeah hello hello i'm going to hit this well. So six iron um just a nice tidy design a nice real clean cut design and just feels like i'm going to smash this i feel like i'm absolutely going to kill it which i am i'm sure that sound that golf shot 1886 pleased with that it's the way it felt it felt hard it felt like it felt solid it's the best description. For that it felt like it was there was lots of meat behind the head love it yeah lots of meat that's the best way i'm describing that lots. And lots of meat one eight two carry let's go one more let's get a nice one out there yeah that is that's up there with the most forgiving iron that i've hit all year it really is way up there right let's have a look at some averages blow the ipad clean about 150 carry with the nine pretty decent numbers nice flight nice launch the first one i didn't hit well person didn't hit well at all still got to 152. So forgiving factors it's right up there then.
The six iron was carrying about one eight eight roughly averaging which is good i like that a lot you know what though as much as the distance is there it's the fact that it feels like you're hitting a solid club like there's something meaty behind the ball like there's something solid when you're hitting it. And that's to me is the best thing about this iron.
