Hi guys my name is Rick shields down at traffic golf Center in Manchester. And today.
Got a head-to-head of the totality made hybrid golf clubs we've got the SLD our hybrid the new one. Or the new one at the current at the moment anyway I'm this stage to the RV's at stage two Weiss a current at the moment I believe Taylor made of just brought a new one out a jet speed but this is the one that's in the market at the moment. And this one came out earlier this year both very successful drivers I've done reviews of those before you can check out my channel. For that and I've just done a very in-depth review of the SL dr as well giving you loads of figures about it but today.
This can be a head-to-head to see with which of these two golf clubs are easiest to hit going to give you the best distance going to give you the best dispersion obviously we're not looking. For massive amounts of difference and distances with these two golf clubs we don't want distance too much with a hybrid anyway I've got both of these in three hybrids and 19ยฐ the only difference is the SL di you can change it. So you can actually make it higher. Or lower where the stage two is just completely fixed in lengthwise almost identical as you would expect. And just different kind of designs on the top you've got the stage two which has got I've just got the white design with the little arrow top just to indicate where the middle of the golf club is. And then.
You've got the new grey design the charcoal teleme going back to an older design that they've done in the past I think they'll start to slightly run out of ideas. So we've got flights go up set up in the background I'm going to be hitting real golf balls. And just to give you a bit of an idea of just bought a thermometer and just to show you guys what the temperature is at no it is six degrees Celsius which is about 42 degrees Fahrenheit. So it's quite a cold day really so I think the distances will slightly reflect that if we did this review on a different day I'm sure. Or warmer day I'm sure the distance is may vary slightly. So I see a lot of comments saying well one minute you've hit a driver 300 yards now you're on it's at 250 temperatures does have a big effect. So this is live figures as much as I can give you. So I'm going to hit the stage two first I'm going to be in five golf shots five very similar golf shots. And I'm going to do the SLD are the same thing five very similar golf shots will have a sit down once we go all the flights cup figures up. And we'll see which ones are giving us what figures [Music] [Music] right guys. So we've done the test enough at five good golf shots with each of these two golf clubs just give us a bit of data from flight scope and see how far the balls go in the height the dispersion everything else on these two golf clubs there was never going to be much separation that kind of shows in the figure slides. So we're going to start with the RV's at stage two like. So this is in three hybrid which is 19 degrees I'm not altered this at all I've hit that on average a carry distance of 223 yards. So quite a nice 19 degree kind of distance on that I said the temperate about 67 degrees Celsius about 40 degrees Fahrenheit. So nice hit club head speed it's getting about average about 101 the longest girl shot I hit with this was the 228 carry. And the shortest was 219. So it had quite a good dispersion from front to back as well if we go on to the new on the SLD r so this had a all of 1-yard extra average carry distance it's gone 224 yards so really come on it's not changed that much and from front to back my longest was twenty two three three. So it did have the longest golf shot. And my shortest was 218 to add the biggest difference between shortest to longest. So whether that was a little bit they felt like good strikes as well. So that might have just been the the dispersion number two of those that club head speed was slightly less it was 98.5 where the other was 101. So didn't quite generate quite as much speed what still went too far now for me they both had very similar forgiveness levels I've hit I think I hit about seven shots with each club to get the five. So there's only two Duff ones I really hit in there because they felt very easy to hit and they're giving me really good figures so guys definitely worth trying the only advantage between the two apart from the price is are the different strings who part of the prize is the actual changeability on the SLD R. So you can change a loft. So it might suit the guys who play at different golf courses on a regular occurrence if you play a similar golf course every week you don't really need to change a lot too much so that wouldn't be a massive factor and both good golf clubs the weather the jet speed is going to beat it I'm not sure soon as I get that in I'll test it up against these two I probably test it okay against the ice LDR with it being its current most current model. And I'll like say all the details are up on screen s you can have a look at all the flight scrub data my name's being Rick shields down here at traffic golf Center in Manchester you can check me out on Facebook.
