All right guys so we are here at the belfry afternoon at the belfry at the brabazonian new uh new guest the chalice is jed walters another teaching pro down at tropical center in manchester. And we're on the brothers and we're actually on the brothers and the ryder cup venue beautiful it's a bit windy it's a bit wet it's a bit cold but we're going to play ten we're gonna play nine holes in a match. And we're gonna have a little test on the uh on the tenth hole the famous hole uh first hole 393 yards straight down a couple of bunkers down there but not too much to contend with have a little match play not a lot not a lot of trouble not too much trouble so i'm gonna i'm gonna try and play safe with a little sldr mini sldr mini debut debut for the newbies lovely slide doesn't miss fairways just doesn't miss fairways it's a fairly finder look at that oh yeah perfect beautiful little little sldr right then..
So i said brand new never done a bit well i did a chipping video with me this week. But we'll forget about that one that was that the one at the jedi one on the scorpion yeah i won that one the original hamp okay different shaft. But the original amp all right show us what you got follow that lead yeah good shot might have just caught left roof. But good enough not quite the fairway finder that the little mini is. But last shot all right it's down there i got my club i've got one six eight left in there one six backspin it's not the uh it's not the driest day in the world there's a bit of water out there anyway so what we're gonna do one six eight. So i'm gonna hit a six iron it's a little bit in the breeze so i'm hoping to carry this about one seven five hopefully then.
Let the wind bring it back to touch right i think it's 161 to the front edge. So it's not that bad and far away that so there's the view of the pin but as we go around to jed's ball we can no longer see the pin yeah gets blocked it is a shame. So he's got he's got a bit of a blind shot here yeah it's about one probably about 165 maybe 65. i probably need to put subtitles on this video as well guys you might have noticed jenny's accent hey some subtitles might come across titles across the bottom broken english sorry you like what we're hitting. So i've got seven iron and balls above my feet so hopefully good to get the shape around these trees okay can't get that one you can hit a bit of a sling in one round beautiful yeah good shape sir got the shape. So whether it's long enough foot all right front edge front legs i'll take that take that awesome seven iron so here we are approaching the first green here at the brotherson i'm just on the front edge looked smack bang down it just just come up a bit short this time boy playing jed 58 degrees way it is quite quite spongy. So this should stop fairly quickly throw it all the way there oh it's a bit big mate it's a little bit big that's fungi so we've got rick for his birdie putt a little bit of peel a little bit off the left a little bit of a breaker rolled it nice he's rolled it nice great effort that was it great effort loving that roll on there yeah it was nice very true roll beautiful greens right no pressure. But this is uh this one's probably going to think i think that one is good. For me did i give me he's obviously not seen me put before right right. For the half this one looks like it looks a little bit left to right a lot it's a bit less so looking at the speed of your foot there this might be a little bit quicker this is rapid proper greens these couple of inches outside way nice off to the second. So we are on the second hole bravo's on there we go 330 yard par four stroke index 17. looking down the halt a lovely hole quite a tight hole slight dog leg can't quite see it from here there's a little bit of water running across the front of the green yeah a few bunkers to protect it right well anyway i'm going driver driver. So i've come on this side of the tee because there's trees over here so i kind of want to open the hole up slightly oh it's just just a little bit just hung like a fraction that might not be too bad i might just look in the trees though just maybe on the edge not too bad though perfect not perfect i think it's right yeah drive it away again i like the i like the look of this hole from this side especially with my traditional shape of a little bit of drawer a little bit also a little bit both teeth on the left just because there's a bit of overhanging tree up there. So straight down a couple of bunkers but yeah it's kind of in this car. So if the right side just inside the tree line is perfect i think a little bit of draw yeah that's good might have just caught the bunker maybe yeah maybe just on the edge right i just caught it. But nice shape all right yeah started a little bit too inside the tree line i think that's why i've caught it on the bunker side. But not too bad not too bad in the trees again to be fair it's not that bad it's right on the edge of the trees we've got some branches to try and get under this is what we've got to look at. So a little bit of overhang what we've got i'm here to show them the shot that i've got yeah what we've got from there about 100 yards. So this is the view from down here bird's eye view 100 yards the greens are soft. So this should stop fairly quickly i've just clipped the last branch loads of branches it's way short i've got a tricky pitch there that tricky pitch i've used too much loft i tried hit 99 silly all right guys we're not really seeing much of each other on this hill jed's way left he's got tricky little pitch into the green i think he's only about 80 yards away to be fair that looks big that was big that was big spin oh it is big. So back edge of the green you might not be able to pick up on cameras back here somewhere after my heroic layup i would say i didn't even know this ditch was here after my fantastic layup i've left myself about a 50-yard pitch. So i'm gonna see how i can get this close. And hopefully put a little bit of pressure on jed so up at the green where's my ball there so not too bad a shot is rick a little pitch caught the branches got this little pitch a little water hazard there played a nice shot played a very good shot ran on a little bit. But he's played a good shot right jed for stroking at 17 we're not doing great on this old mate no i mean what's to be fair at least at least you're putting. For bird it is. For birdie okay to be fair it's not too bad i've got a little bit of a flyer coming out of the uh the roof over there yeah it's a little bit thicker than what it looks this screen is certainly not thick this is. So so so sweet if the first read is anything to go by this is gonna be wrapping this is gonna be fast mate really fast go to put from here is it good well i never thought you'd have left it short from there great. But well done good distance okay. So rick to save his part across the green big big slope because you can't quite see it on this but there is a big slope let me just see if i can get a little bit lower just try. And get a little bit of the contouring it's a good roll oh it's not broken broke yeah throat behind i've just hit a bit too hard there nice roll good stroke again thank you yeah that's good i should really give you. Or shouldn't i well that's your choice it's his choice click like if you would give jedd. although to be fair he didn't get one twice the length on the first click like if you would give the jet that putt i'm not going to give it him click like okay you can have that. For me thank you hold on good four and we're back to all square back to all square one rolling right guys so third hole 538 yards par five beautiful looking hull not clue where the green is just. Yet down there somewhere anyway fairway a couple of bunkers nothing too hard for talent of me and jedi not at all right and judge all square all squares all square game on split this fairway this is i'm going hopefully just inside this bunker on the right yeah little draw that'll do where we want it yeah good shot got a bit of the overdraws today.
Mate yeah it's a little bit again sort of the left side of the bit of the overdraw fairway maybe just caught the left edge of the roof again might have to try. And uh hit a couple of fades i think could be the answer always prepared thank you all right. So it looks like the mini is out again is it i don't know oh no it's just yes it's the big boy the big boy's out no more mini 500 yarder no more mini mini. For second shot a little bit of draw as well i've joined i held the holes that way yeah a little bit hopefully it is a dog leg there it's a little bit of a dress left right me. And jenna off the planet here natural holes over there somewhere um part five we've still got a mammoth way we've actually just got on top of that hill the hole is over there somewhere. But the sensible layup is over this little tree up there i'm actually even further left i'm over there too much tighter line. So we'll show you what it looks like from the top of the hill so you can actually understand what it looks like. So you can see there that we've got to avoid the water on the left. And avoid this tree for me go for a jet right i've got seven iron i'm gonna try and get it seven up and over there must be at least 250 yards left in and it must be at least 25 feet from the tree yeah exactly you don't have much to go over this tree no not much of all the three maybe the right edge of it. And get a draw oh it's over it all right i'll be fair way perfect that one that'll be fairway happy with that shot that's a good recovery right my bag i've got five iron five quite a bit of room down there why it's not too bad to be burnt no i've got lucky with the light break quarter break i'm gonna hit it straight over there between our bag straight between the bags oh he's ripped it out there a little draw moving it towards the well we know the water hazards over there. So i put it straight over my backside it's moving it towards the uh towards the greatest layup area ever stay tuned right so what a hole this is jed's laid up generously let's say to be fair the three just got in the way 175 left in you can see clearly over the water pin just behind that that little pop bunker. So what we're hitting jed i've got six iron six irons a little bit heavy okay all right. So just wanna make there's no no prizes. For being in the water nope so sort of hot of the green maybe right side of the green sounds good perfect and i'm actually just right down there i've laid out quite nicely right oh he's called it was he called it oh what a shame he's junk he's about five yards too short he's hit pins there it looks all over it the bank just to the right of the bunker you just hit it in there i can just see the white dot oh lucky mate yeah. So rick is hit the perfect awesome if you if you really really pay attention to the screen just above the yellow stake in front of the bunker on the left my ball is about six yards up the bank here. So rick great approaching what we've got 100 yards okay i'm gonna try. And throw it all the way there because just in front of the pins the big back slope and i can see it gonna spin. For the speaking i'm gonna try and throw it over it smoke it really well let's draw him back in or a little bit of spin on it as well probably not from here he said about one ted yeah that's all right. So well good shot right dad so he's he's been a bit of lucky there just on the front edge he's got 58 i'm gonna try and throw it all the way there i'm just over the back here just throwing it a bit past the flag the flopper oh not bad from there a a great shot a little bit unlucky yeah just making sure really when we look at the actual proximity to the whole of the pin. And the bunker there it's very very close safe foot good shot great pace really good pace nice pup good it's good nice two foot there thank you right then.
Jad do you need this mate this is it this it all is. For a very adventurous fire this would be a very offensive spot i don't think we've seen how they've seen the hole on this rollering up.
