The drivers I'm about to review in this video I'm really excited to test. And this year I've been very lucky I've tested some of the biggest name drivers in the world of golf everybody this year is talking about Callaway Paradigm. And TaylorMade stealth 2 and they're really good performing drivers they are however. they've also got something else in common they're both comfortably over 500 pounds each now the driver. Or should I even say drivers good throws I'm testing in this video These both sit at a slower price point under 400 pounds can they be as impressive as good as those Flagship models from other brands these drivers are the Wilson Dino Power I'm going to test them both out on the golf course today.

To see if they impress me. And Dyna power has Legacy with Wilson for many years Wilson have used the name Diana power going back to even old irons that Arnold Palmer played with in the past. So it is nice to see the name back on a Wilson product now also there's lots of very bold claims. And exciting claims from Wilson that these are the best performing drivers they've ever made let's give it a shot like are these gonna be. So good that these are the drivers you should be looking to test this year saving yourself a few hundred dollars compared to the big name driver brands foreign let me remind you of the brand new review Channel that's going to be coming very soon I think we're already over 50 000 subscribers. So thank you for that if you've not subscribed yet there's a link in the top line of the description if you're having something very very exciting built for the brand new review Channel fingers crossed launching April 2023 be part of it subscribe so there are two Wilson Diner power drivers there's this one which is the titanium model this looks. So bloody good honestly I I'm gonna admit it and say this line up and I'll show the carbon one in a minute for me this is the best looking Wilson driver they've ever made I love the blacked out finish I love this matte crown on this titanium version even the head covers look really good in premium the carbon head cover has a little bit more of a leather strap where the actual titanium one has a fabric strap. But they both look so good this driver is priced at 349 pounds well that's a substantial difference compared to as I mentioned earlier the calorina TaylorMade drivers I also love the look of the Simplicity of it as well like it's not too garish. Or complicated this particular titanium driver Wilson are claiming is going to suit more like 60 of the golfing world it's also got 16 gram weight here at the back which is to promote more forgiveness. And a slight draw biased you can also change the Loft you can go up by two degrees. And down by one degree I just think it looks. So bloody good and also there's a carbon model now the carbon model is aimed at slightly more better player it's a slightly lower spin version it is priced still under 400 pound. But it's 399 pound as you can imagine from the name it's effectively got more carbon in carbon along the toe here Carbon on the crown look at that now that does look more premium I think that is a beautiful looking driver I'm going to test this slightly later in the video. And this particular one is probably going to suit me a little bit more. And also aimed at the kind of tall level golfer it's not got quite as much weight at the back he's only got 12 grams of weight so it's gonna be a slightly lower spin model but let's start off with this first the titanium model I'm going to hit a few. And then.

We'll get onto the carbon model you know what I am genuinely excited about hitting this driver I think it looks. So bloody good love the shaping love the finish I love that matte Crown it's simple it's not too complicated but Lux is one Element as you know to a drive of a shot it's not only going to look good it's in most people's eye it's got to sound brilliant this particular model has got to be forgiving like really it's going to be going up against like a g430. So it's got to have a forgiveness to it it's gonna have distance too let's give it a whack at 349 pounds could this possibly be the best driver this year foreign it wasn't quite a crunchy noise it wasn't horrible at all it kind of just had a little bit more of a ping to it a slightly louder pitch I slightly hit it high from the toe and that went dead straight considering I didn't hit it right in the middle first shot goes that's not a bad run at all okay after the first shot which I was impressed with I've set up GC quad because I'm going to get some data with this driver now I think in this particular model just because the weight's a bit further back it might not be the perfect driver. For me so I'm expecting to carry this in the 270s yards of carry distance and getting as close to 160 miles per hour both we use recap yeah [Music] that's a nice shot all right guys. So just letting the group play through hopefully don't pick up any of the Pro V ones that I've hit down there so far but while I let them get out the way I just want to talk about the first few shots without driver as I mentioned I do really like the looks behind the ball it's phenomenal sound it's high pitched. But it's not offensive feel very very solid so far the numbers aren't exactly optimized for me it is a slightly higher spin driver therefore. I don't feel like I can get an ultimate distance however. I've got to say every single shot I've just hit has gone straight down the middle of the Fairway right that shot surprised me more promise there it launched High it did over 17 degrees. But because it didn't have loads of spin on that particular shot it actually carried at two seven eight it feels very very easy to hit this driver it really does. And if it can get those numbers Kudos that's a pretty good performing driver there's another one high launch. But felt like it was low spin 273 yards carry nothing to really Grumble up there. So fair play to Wilson with that driver like if you're looking for a driver that is high launch easy to hit looks good. And still can offer some distance at a price point that doesn't break the bank well that's definitely one to consider look at the group in there like this one on the right is a little bit short I wasn't my best hit. But that Bunch down there that is very very good dispersion however. Will Smith still got a challenge the Carbon Drive now this driver they're really trying to make some Headway with this driver they want tour Pros using the carbon driver they want to start taking some market share from some of the big boys. So here we go the main event the dying of power carbon driver now as mentioned earlier on this is a slightly different price point I'm guessing because of the extra carbon this is 399 pounds. And you know what it's quite a clever price point from Wilson because with this driver they genuinely want to compete with Callaway TaylorMade ping Etc therefore. if they actually made this driver too cheap let's say it was much lower than 399 pound it was close to 300 pounds the consumer the golfer the psychology that we have as golfers would then.

Consider this a more inferior product they put it in a different category. And probably wouldn't even consider it so this price is clever because it's cheaper it is. But it's not stupidly cheaper I love the look of this I do I mentioned it earlier. For me the carbon on the top this kind of two-tone it has been done with manufacturers before it has I think this is one of the nicest finishes I've ever seen it's beautiful as I mentioned there's less weight in in the back. So it's gonna be a slightly lower spin model which is to be honest is the only thing I could criticize that driver the actual Dyna power titanium. For me it was a little bit higher spin let's give this a hit I still want it to perform I still want it to be forgiving I think there's gonna be an extra bit of distance. And it could even just sound slightly better lots of promise for this so here we go shop number one slightly different head shaping as well it feels a little bit more it's not small the head but it kind of looks a little bit more squishy on the edges foreign drivers I've heard all year it I was hoping it would do it just had that little bit more of a Crunch straight out the block I'm not saying it's super fast. Or long just yet that was two seven four yards. But it's an opening tee shot that was pretty impressive let's hit a few more. But I must admit the sound oh that was satisfying now this might be a little bit premature to say. But could this be the driver of the Year 2023 by Wilson I need to hit more shots still not too bad it looked tiny bit of a pull but that's very much in play [Music] you know what so far I'm really impressed with this driver like the numbers are very very strong like pretty much getting the numbers that I want to see with a driver 280 yards carry just under 160 ball Speed 2 000 spin however. I've got to be honest don't think I've absolutely nutted one. Yet I actually think they might be a little bit more left I'm gonna go three more shots. And see if I can really crunch one as an overall product these two drivers very very strong they really are they've surprised me. And I would I'd go as far as saying possibly the drivers to beat in 2023 three more can I finish this video with an absolute monster right here we go three shots does the diner have some real power [Music] ah leaked it it's a good hit. But it's leaked to the right that's my fastest one yet but not my longest oh it's a good hit again okay last shot let's see if we can unleash some power gotta say the lineup has impressed me looking. For forgiveness at a lower price point the diner power titanium is definitely worth checking out if you're on a little bit more distance. And a slightly more premium option certainly for a better player I think the carbon driver's really good as well very impressed I am right come on [Music] gave it my best shot I went straight down the Fairway it's not breaking any records that's. For sure like And subscribe we'll see you next.
