We're going to be testing the new Titleist 913 drivers we've got the D2. And the D3 we're going to test them we're going to hit them I'm going to tell you what I feel about them. And you can then.
Either go to your local driveway drive. Or you can choose not to. So Titleist now sort of generally bring out two drivers one to cater for the slightly higher handicapper ones are still cover the market. For their for their better players so to speak um we've got the D2 and the D3 here the D2 is a slightly bigger headed Club this is the 460. it's got the weight brought back right into the back of the club here that's going to improve this center of gravity. And help you hit the ball a little bit higher it's also when you set the golf ball when you set the club up behind the ball it's actually got a much bigger head from looking down as well so visually it's a little bit more appetizing to hit it looks a bit easier to hit um and as well it's got the adjustability on the the shaft on the lock so you can take the club off you can put it in different angles you can set it open close higher lower um it's a lot of very very versatile likewise with the the D3 the D3 is a slightly smaller head four four five CC um when you look down onto it it's it's slightly smaller to look down on. And I'll show you the view of that in a moment um it's got like a deeper face than the than the D2 so when it sits behind the golf ball again you can just see it just sit a little bit higher up. So it tendency to take this ball a little bit to the golf ball a little bit higher with the the D3 um when you look down at it it looks a lot more or a lot more compact a little bit more appealing to the eye for the better player possibly they've still got this center of gravity quite far back but not as far back in the D2 so it shouldn't go quite as high I'm going to hit a few shots. For you here now let you know what I feel about them and hopefully I can give you a bit of input whether to go out. And buy one or not so we're going to start off with the the D2 here first. So this is the one again with the center of gravity the 460cc head um setting up behind the golf ball that sets up behind the ball really really nicely it's got a nice big head on it more traditional to what a a drive a modern driver would look like a bit more now like I said with its 460cc head that helps with that it sits ever to slightly open when you set it up normally. But again that's not a bad thing for a tireless driver um let's give it a hit so straight away that actually produce quite a high ball flight felt brilliant felt really really solid off the face um probably higher than what I would expect for a 9.5 um and that's obviously again because the center of gravity has been brought back I'm going to hit another one the feel. And the response of the club face there is fantastic what I do like about it with the the black polish finish you can actually see where you've hit it from I've hit them a little bit Healy. But it gives you a bit of an indication of exactly where you've hit it from so between shots you can go right was that we've got bad connection was it a bad swing a connection has a huge influence on where the golf ball goes. So that gives you a nice indicator for that uh visually like I said it sits great behind the ball great noise to it great feedback from it. And generally quite an easy Club to hit right now we've got the the D3 so the D3 again is supposed to be. For the slightly better play it's like smaller in the head when we set this one behind the golf book now personally in my opinion that actually sits behind the golf ball a lot better it's a little bit more compact more traditional to what a Titleist driver would be um I like it that's behind the golf ball really really nice still sits a fraction open now this should produce a slightly lower ball flight see what happens [Applause] yeah I like that a lot I mean that that gave me a little bit more penetrating ball flight it felt very similar to the uh to the D2 um come out a little bit well it looked a little bit hotter I might just struck that a bit better. But again just when I'm looking down on this golf club it really does appeal to my eye a lot more rather than the uh the bigger headed one from before the slightly shallower head I'll hit this one one more time. For you foreign yeah I'll be honest with you that's pretty awesome um yeah it's really really solid really nice hit really great feel. And again same feel to the the two possibly D2 didn't suit me as well as the the three house but both felt incredibly well great response off the club face uh this just gave me a slightly more penetrating ball flight probably went a little bit further um if I was to put one in my bag personally I'd go. For the D3 but don't let that put you off getting a D2 as well um test them both see how you feel see how you get on I said I still like the adjustability on the on the club head there um let me get the D2 back this is the little Gizmo that you use that you can the little wrench that you can take the actual shaft out. And it's got a series of different combinations and codes where you get a little Titleist chart with that and that again can help you modify it. And change it like I said before don't change it too much make sure it's not the club that's making the changes it's you. So if you're not hitting it straight don't just think it's the club it could possibly be yourself. And your golf swing and see local golf coach come and see me down at Trafford Golf Center I can help you improve that. And help you hit the ball a lot more solid without adjusting your driver as well um I like them I like them a lot I think they feel great they feel fantastic um catering. For both markets now not just for your better player but if you slightly higher handicap which tightly sometimes didn't really cater for in the past but now obviously they have to Branch out to slightly bigger Market um great golf clubs really really like them would recommend them and would recommend them to try thanks very much for watching guys um you can follow me on Facebook.
