Hi guys my name's rick shields and we're going to be doing a top 10 irons that you should be trying in 2015. And talk about the strengths the weaknesses and who it's going to be most suited to at number 10 is the nike vapor range now the nike vapor range have come out in three different models you've got the pro which is the really small one which a lot of good players are using you've got the pro combo it's got a bit more forgiveness in the longer irons. And also you've got the speed the vapor speed now i got to test these very briefly when nike came recently and let me hit the drivers but i didn't really get a full in-depth review of them so i couldn't exactly tell you the full strengths and weaknesses of them just yet but i know they are very very popular. And they're going to be fantastic irons this season. So ones to try if you're a nike fan or if you want to be trying a nike club for the first time i think these could be the best answer they've ever made in number nine it's the taylormade tour preferred range. So the tour preferred came out kind of back back in the last year really but still a fantastic golf clubs the tour preferred are suited to all different types of golfers they've got three models out mc mb. And cb and ones that should be tried if you're a golfer that like the taylormade look but more of a classic look they're not as big as bold as some of the more modern taylormade clubs that they brought out very classic looking the tall preferred tag attached to them and ones that should be trying reviewing them before my channel so if you've not seen that go and check out as well guys a very easy tip in the forgiving irons and very workable in the lower smaller heavy dimes as well guys in number eight you've got the titleist 714 range so they've got four sets of ions out in the titles you've got the ap1 nice and forgiving you've got the ap2 forged head a little bit smaller you've got the cb and you've got the mb so cavity back and muscle back definitely wants to try titus have made a club now for all golfers every single type of golfer out there from your elite player using the small head to your higher handicapper that you can use the ap1 it's definitely ones that you should be looking at. And trying very good looking club heads very easy to in the higher range and ones that you should be getting custom fit for and trying if you're a titleist fan definitely ones that you should be looking at doing as well guys so in number seven it's the ping s55 irons so the ping kind of bladed versions the ones that i currently use in my club bag at the moment obviously ping have their big colour chart custom fitting chart that you should abide to and go and get custom fit to because they're they know their clubs inside out it's a very classic looking club because it's got the hosel which a lot of the ping clubs don't have and i i personally prefer that look of the iron they're not the easiest clubs to hit in the world but they offer great feel workability and a club for you're a better player wanting to get either sing even better single figures lower to really improve your game but ones that you should be looking at trying guys if you are a good good golfer in number six it's the callaway apex range. So they've got the really tiny small one which is the muscle back they've got the apex pro which is a kind of cross between mid handicapper. And lower handicapper and then.

They've got the callaway apex which are a real powerful hitting golf club undoubtedly i would say one of the best looking irons on the market currently they look phenomenal certainly the muscleback version looks just sublime. But it is a very small head i like what they've done here callaway because they've brought three golf clubs out they're going to suit different types of golfers. But came with kept the same theme a very look very classic looking not too over the top not like let's say the x2 hots very classic looking and have a club for each different type of golfer from your elite golfer for the mbs to your slightly higher handicappers that might want to be using the pros if for example the pros don't quite fit you i would still recommend the callaway x2 hots they are powerful powerful hitting golf clubs. But maybe don't suit the mass market as much as they could do guys callaway definitely worth giving them a go. And it's they've got a nice range of apex irons in number five and this is the one now. For the for the monster hitters someone who wants to hit the ball the long way you've got the callaway big bertha 2014 range this is the one with the big chunky muscle almost like a driving iron head. But when you actually look down at it it doesn't look as big i had rob potter my 13 handicapper testing this golf club go and check out on the channel and we saw fantastic results granted it is a strong lofted iron. But because it's got the central gravity all the way down to the bottom of the head it's easy to hit up in the air and it offers huge amounts huge amounts of forgiveness and it's so easy to it's untrue the thing it's going to struggle with is it doesn't suit everybody's eye i've give it to a couple of golfers who would probably suit it. And just do not like the look of it. So you've got to be willing to sacrifice a bit of the looks for the power and the forgiveness this golf club can offer in number four is the mizuno jpx range you've got the jpx 850 pro. And you've got the jpx 850 forged irons uh nice nice irons the four's one of the forged ones i've tested recently on my channel and they're just unbelievable so easy to they've also got the jpx pro range as well uh but mizuno they've always made great looking and classic irons and for golfers who i mean i've not never been a monstrous mizuno fan. But these this range of golf clubs has been really really nice certainly the jpx 850 forged i love the fact that it was a forged head. But it still had the characteristics to help me hit the ball a long way guys do go. And check out the mizuno range it's if you're after a classic looking club with different ranges of feel because i think that's what mizuno can definitely offer in a forced head that's still forgiving it's definitely worth having a look at guys that's the mizuno jpx range. So number three is the shriks. And zed range these are the zed range of irons that have come out. And they're very very nice you've got the 945s which is the smaller head the 745s which is slightly kind of in the middle of the range. For your mid handicapper and you've got your five four fives which is the nice big chunky one. But they have a very classic look across the board very very sharp sleek lines beautiful chrome irons which look phenomenal and perform brilliantly very sharp edges and ones that you should try now trixon aren't massively renowned and they're not a huge company but for the iron rays that they brought out this year is definitely worth having a look at it really is you've got to go. And see a shrinks and stockish which i don't believe there's a great deal of them they're not they don't deal with big massive stores so you if you're going to find a stricken stockish you've got to look you've got to look quite deep. But go get custom fit have a look at the strix and range i think the look of them are just sublime. And they are a fantastic performing golf club they're in my top three. So srixon you've done really well in number two is the ping g30 irons. So the g30s came out and are fantastic. And easy to hit so they've kept on the model with the g20 g25s g30s and every single year that g range would have always been in my top three because it is such a nice iron it's classic it's easy to hit it's great. For golfers of all different abilities i mean all different abilities i have some high handicappers using them i have some very good golfers using them because they look great obviously you've got the options to custom fit them when you buy them uh it's which is definitely worth doing because the ping fittings services is second to none um good-looking they don't have to hustle on it which is not the super classic looking club that maybe some people might like uh. But the ping range the g30 it's it's forgiving it's long but when you look down at it it's not a scary horrible golf club to look at it's very very good looking actually um so g30 range guys suited to all different types of golfer and it's definitely one that you should be trying if you're in the market for some new items i'm a number one iron for 2015 you should be definitely looking to try is the taylormade rsi range. So face slots face lots and speed slots and all different types of slots they've got three irons that have come out the rsi one big head granted strong loss but very very easy to and with the central gravity being so low are very easy to up in the air you've got the rsi two irons smaller head ranging from all different sides of golf from slightly kind of high to middle to low handicappers could use that iron because it's a good classic looking club. And you've got the rsi tp version which is coming out i believe early in 2015. smaller head i've not tested that. Yet so i couldn't say the advantage of it but looks on paper really good the face slots the technology behind that is that off-centered hits miss hits happen it's still the club the ball still comes off the face very very well. So miss hits will happen on irons. And we need a golf club that's very forgiving and the facelocks do what they say they do they make sure the ball still comes off the face really nicely they've brought three irons to suit all different types of golfer it's definitely one that you should be looking at trying guys if you're already a tailor-made junkie i'm sure you've already tried them in some way um. But they're they're my number one iron to test in 2015. guys if you've enjoyed the video please do give it a thumbs up comment down below let me know what your top 10 are top three are let me know i'd love to hear your thoughts on that this is just my opinion.
