So just joined uh the team at charlton with james curtis and he's looking forward to his new role so while we just uh got a little interval break here on the golf course we thought we'd do a quick what's in the bag with uh with matt fryer yeah right hopefully not forgot irons what we got well they're like some bent ones yeah starting off driver at the minute i'm waiting. For a new one ordered a big bertha new callaway so that's just my g20 that's an old one waiting for the new one to come so what's your new one sorry uh the big bertha not the alpha no the one below it um. And what what spec have you got that coming out um nine degrees fabuki x in it nice uh yeah. So hopefully that'll be here soon nice drivers really good good then.
What are we using n3 wood three wood got callaway x hot pro um. So a little bit not as offset as the uh normal model you see in the shops and i've gone for a uh a pro light try and get a little bit more height on it tends to go quite low this one so trying to pop it a little bit more with that lovely club goes miles as well yeah very nice yeah the exhausts are really powerful clubs yeah. And then.
Going into the uh is it hybrid hybrid yeah just got on adams the super idea lsp 20 degrees on that in place i don't have a three iron. So i think this tends to uh fit the gap really as we go at the top of that one there mat okay it's got that speed slot technology. Or whatever they call it like all the rocket yeah all that jazz all that jazz. So we've got one at the bottom there as well it's nice so it's got just has kind of super here along the back i'm not sure how much you can see in the light. But it's very good looking little club head that ain't it yeah i bet that speed socket makes it helps with alignment as well yeah like 20 degrees yeah. And then.
We've got i just saw some new irons in the bag yeah definitely had these couple of weeks now love them um i've gone. For the ping s55 black dot standard lie beautiful uh then.
Gone for dynamic gold tour issue x 100's in there just turning there stiff 100 shafts yeah just tend not to move them as much through the air not as much shape on them i find um. And your black dot with these yeah black dot very nice. So these are the these are the upgraded version of mine. But recently been down to ping got fitted for a set of these so i think i think i might be joining with the s55 suit map yeah. And we've gone from what four to down to one four down to wedge in those uh then.
We move on to a answer gap wedge okay going. For red dot in that slightly flatter point seven five minutes keep it still that's perfect so what loft in this area that's 52 okay you're you're pitching wedge you know what it finishes lockwise yeah 46. okay. So then.
You've gone you've got into 52 yeah. And then.
I go to a 58 after that i always like that combo i don't like too many wedges in my bag and this is a not like me i've got about five yeah. And this is cleveland cleveland yeah tall grooves on it nice drag five eight eight twelve degrees of bounce on it don't like too little bounce a real mixture of manufacturers you've got in the bag here at the moment definitely which is good you know it's good to see you know you're not tied in with anyone it's nice that you've got a mixture using the best of everything just get what works. For you at the end of the day there's no point trying something just to match in with your set. And keeping it that way and then.
The most important tool this baby oh this is nice i actually got this made up on the callaway tour van. For me my one of my pals um the ones you'll see in the shop will be black hair. And white on the outsides this is the reverse ways i like it um. And you've modified this a little bit yeah it's really light head on it. So i've actually got 17 pieces of lead tape on the 17. don't do things by halves. So i've gone for 17. um just try and get a bit more weight in the head really i don't like light putters yeah. So i just tend to feel that with a bit more weight down on that so people can carve a look. So this is the uh i said normally it's black in the middle. And white on the sides yeah we've got a a slim super stroke on it yeah. For my skinny hands yeah it's a slim one is it ultra slim it is nice very nice tool yeah.
