Have you ever seen golf balls from Titus that look like this if you live outside of Japan probably not these are the vg3 which are exclusive. For Japan only now one of my subscribers sent me a box of three to give a test so I'm down here at the Marriott Worsley Park to give these quite unusual quite special quite possibly magnificent golf balls a little bit of a test now I've only got three of them I don't want to lose them because towards the end of this video I'm going to chop one in half now these golf balls are very very rare. And I want to thank Ben one of my good followers for sending me a sleeve of three and I've got to talk about looks first this golf ball looks very different the Titleist on it is much bigger lettering than a Pro V1 this has number 77 on it which again looks fantastic. And the color now this apparently is rainbow pearl. And when I first looked out the box I was like that's just white until you compare it to an actual white ball this almost glimmers in the sunlight that's pretty special I believe also this golf ball comes in green. And yellow as well now before you ask know this golf ball isn't fake even though it looks very different to what we would see here in the UK Europe and over in USA this is genuinely from Titleist. And it's not just titles and it's not just golf balls that are made exclusively. For Japan Callaway TaylorMade obviously Titleist make golf clubs make golf balls make apparel all exclusive for Japan which we will now ever see outside of that country that's what makes this golf ball. So rare also looking into it number seven is a very very lucky number in Japan hence why this golf ball has number 77 on it seven is my favorite number is it going to be lucky. For me today.

Okay third hole here at the Marriott the hardest hole in the golf course actually let's get things going right come on nice opener [Music] it's all right it's down there wasn't my best hit in the world. But the good news is we shouldn't have lost it because like I say I've only got three of these bad boys okay second shot nearly 200 yards that felt really nice oh it's hit the bathroom bouncing miles left I might have left a nasty little Mark in the ball okay yeah it's come miles left I've got I've got a gap luckily. For the flag yeah damage doesn't look too bad it's not bad should be put in Okay. So we've got this for par after quite an adventure a bit of path damage welcome to the UK golf ball right what I've done I went onto the website before tell us Japan to find out a little bit more information about this board and I've also used Google Translate to read the back of the packet so apparently it's got amazing flight distance and soft feel and also the other big standouts is low spin increases flight distance with iron shots stable trajectory. And soft feel on all shots very similar to what we hear from every golf ball ever made on the back of the box but it's such a cool like that you can actually translate it a little bit about r d as well how they've managed to improve the core to increase ball speed. And have lower spin again we've heard all this before let's see how it feels first put with this ball can we make a little sneaky path I like the lineup I like the two lines parallel to the vg3 side okay come on that didn't feel soft that felt hard off the putter face yeah that is a firm feeling golf ball off the footer not my favorite anyway I'm gonna go. And play a few holes bogey the first there's a few chances of making birdie with a couple of par fives coming up but before that got a nice little par three let's see how it flies it's a windy day as well well it's a good day to test the golf ball because if that dimple pattern is helping stable flight stable trajectory as it says on the box this is a perfect day to test that theory okay part three playing just under 150 yards I'm gonna go straight. For the pin with the nine iron foreign [Music] landed as well well I thought I was gonna actually hop up with it being downwind. But it actually dug its teeth in and actually annoyingly spun back away from the flag too far now going back to my point I alluded to at the start of this video this golf ball is made exclusively. For Japan as are many products at loads of them it's got me thinking like this golf ball. So far it's been all right I'm not it loads of shots yet but is the rest of the world missing out okay let's get it back to level par ah bad read ball feels. So firm off the putter really does okay next.

Holds the par five it switched rounds to the right we've got another par five coming up next.

As well let's see if we knit straighter one this time it's not the best. But it's okay [Music] oh that was nice oh it might have just caught the bunker. But that was a really good hit [Music] [Applause]. So when I look at the type this Japan website what you see at the top of the golf ball ranking is the Titleist Pro V1. And the pro v1x and the AVX they also at the top just below that category is this the vg3. So it is still kind of one of their premium golf balls even though it's not the top now price point Ben who bought them. And sent them over to me so he paid 12 dollars for three so it's not as if the massively ridiculously expensive which maybe I thought they could have been because I have seen a lot of products coming from Japan that seem to have a ludicrous price point that seemed to be very very expensive golf clubs over there from what I've seen anyway now one thing that you might be asking is why why have they made this golf ball exclusively to the Japan Market because from what I've found. So far this doesn't seem to perform any different to the same kind of level golf ball here that you get in the UK or USA the only thing I can put it down to is the facts things like the logo is massive number 77 the lucky numbers the fact it's got this rainbow pearl finish these things that might just be more popular in Japan golfers may just like this style of golf Bots the only thing I can put it down to unless I've missed something on performance which I might just need the next.

Few holes to see if that is the case [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] feels like a brick. But that one thankfully went in so even though I just made Birdie down the last hole I've got to be honest I've not been blown away by the performance of this golf ball now you know me I like chopping golf balls in half so as to finish this off number one priority can we try. And hold on on this beautiful par three of the seventh and the second Point whichever golf ball finishes furthest away we're going to chop in half okay nice nine irons [Music] oh I think middle of the green it's not bad pin High okay this is the right Club oh very similar shot oh. But it's just outside of its brother okay final one I'm gonna go straight. For the PIN foreign I'll be good spin oh yeah took me three attempts. But that last one was pretty awesome okay let's go. And chat One open actually three very nice golf shots the one that finished close beautiful these two pitched up here and screwed to here I take all three of them through honest with you but this one was the furthest away to finish it off let's see what's inside oh actually quite soft to cut through which surprises me. And inside we've got oh it's quite different three piece big blue section slightly larger kind of white outer core that's what's inside the vg3 guys so thanks for watching because I don't think we're missing out on anything over in the UK. Or USA but I must admit they do look good. And they spin like crazy we'll see you next.

Time.
