RESPONSIBILITIES:
Filming Content:
- Operate high-quality cameras to film engaging golf-related content.
- Set up and manage filming equipment, including lighting, audio, and camera rigs.
- Collaborate with the team to plan and execute creative shots and storytelling elements.
- Ensure footage is captured to a high standard, maintaining Rick Shiels Media’s reputation for quality.
Editing Content:
- Use Final Cut Pro to edit video content, delivering polished, engaging, and on-brand final products.
- Apply colour correction, sound mixing, and motion graphics to elevate the quality of the edits.
- Manage raw footage, organize media files, and ensure efficient post-production workflows.
Collaboration & Teamwork:
- Work closely with the media team to brainstorm ideas and contribute to the creative vision of content.
- Provide input on storyboarding, scripting, and shot planning to enhance the production process.
- Support other team members with technical expertise, particularly with filming and editing.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Minimum2+ years filming & editing experience
- Proficiency with Final Cut Pro
- Familiar with Adobe creative suite apps (preferable)
- Ability to produce engaging video content with a keen eye for pacing, storytelling, and attention to detail
- Proven experience delivering content under tight deadlines, with advanced skills in video editing, sound mixing, and colour grading
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to meeting challenges
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Extensive global travel with several weeks per year
- Must hold a clean valid UK Driving license and access to own vehicle
